Huntington League of Women Voters honors civic action

The League of Women Voters of Huntington recently recognized several organizations for their civic action and get-out-the-vote efforts.

The organizations that received a plaque and/or certificate of appreciation included Connoisseur Radio, the Paramount Theater, Five Towns College, and the Cinema Arts Center.

Joann Raia, the former town clerk and registrar for the Town of Huntington, was also honored for her commitment to civic action throughout her long career.
