The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Long Beach will host a scavenger hunt to celebrate the seaside city’s 100-year anniversary.

The summer program runs from June 27 to August 4 at Cantiague Park in Hicksville, Nickerson Beach Park in Lido Beach, and Wantagh Park.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 21 in Belmont Park’s North Shore Terrace Club House.

The hunt runs through Sunday, April 17.

The playground will feature appropriate and engaging sensory equipment for special needs children.

The event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at The Bayview at 395 Woodcleft Ave. in Freeport.

The free event for residents and their families will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 23.

The LI Nets will host a pregame panel featuring notable women in the sports industry beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The event, co-sponsored by Friends of the Bay, takes place at three different locations from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 16.

Applications are now available for the free fair to be held on Saturday, May 21 at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park & Beach.
